The rest of our July Buffalo trip

After Oma's party on Saturday, we had 4 more days to enjoy the beach.
The kids also spent lots of time in the sandbox, or on the swingset  at the cottage.

Tessa truly loved having so many older cousins to dote on her.

And Mommy loved having older cousins to chase down Tessa as she bounded into the lake with no fear.
The porpoise.  They swam on it, walked it, sat on it.  You name it.  It was quite the popular porpoise.

 Sweet baby Nora

This kid does a weird thing where he puts his head in the sand, and then is confused as to why he has sand everywhere.
And his sister copies him.  Naturally.
When we took a break from the beach, it was time to tend Opa's garden.  Eli is sneaky.  He had all the tomatoes off and eaten  before anyone hardly realized.  So then the moved onto the peppers.  Thankfully, he listened when we told him not to eat those.

 Happy cousin Gwen
And then we went back to the beach that evening.

His head in the sand trick.
WHY does he look so grown up here?

Gavin loved flying this airplane, and the other boys enjoyed watching.

 Practicing silhouette shots

 Oma and Gwen
Drake and I went on a nature hunt on the beach.

Gavin show us his big muscles!
And since my kids are TIRED of the camera, I found some other willing subjects!

 Or, maybe not so willing.
Ok, all better.  Her Daddy appeared to make her laugh!
Can't believe this sweet girl is ONE!
 Play time!
And heading off for yet another bike ride.
The boys loved playing with this rock pile.
Okay, this is FINALLY the end of our Buffalo pictures from the summer.  We had two great trips, and can't wait to get back in 2013.

More from Oma's Party

Oma's luau party was lots of fun, and one of the best parts was the photo booth.
Colleen and her family:

 Jamie and her family:
 Steve with daughter Sara:
Sue's sister Karen with her husband Jim and their four kids: Jamie, Colleen, Steve, and Mollie
LOOK!  There's a monkey in the tree!
Drake decided to hang with the big cousins for a while.
Oma in her BIG chair, opening presents.  This chair was a hit.
Cousin Lacey, all ready to do a hula dance.
 Uncle Joe and cousin Gwen
 More slide pictures!
Tessa with one of the neighbors- so sweet!
Eli was content to play in the little pool at the bottom.
Oma with her brothers and sister
 Throw in a few spouses
And if there was any question as to where our boys get their white blond hair from, check out three of Drake's older cousins.  Definitely comes from Eric's side!
