Concord Mills is an outlet mall just north of Charlotte. Like I mentioned in previous posts, we went last week to get Drake's summer wardrobe. But, in the midst of shopping for his cute clothes, we had plenty of fun. Actually, him and Daddy had all the fun while Mommy shopped. The first thing Drake saw, and kept pointing at, was the carousel. Daddy of course obliged. First they just sat on the bench, but Drake decided that simply wouldn't do. He kept pointing and demanding to get on a horse. So, of course Daddy obliged that as well. He seemed to really enjoy it. The last time he rode a carousel was in October, and he was kind of oblivious. This time, he was totally into it.

Drake also just enjoyed walking around the mall. He had on his "squeakers", which are adorable little red sneakers that squeak each time he steps. They are PERFECT for a trip to a mall, where you need to keep up with your child in the midst of lots of people. When we let him out of the stroller, we never had any doubt as to where he was.

Then, right between the Children's Place outlet store and a huge toy store, was a train. A cute little train that kids and parents can ride in. It goes about halfway around the mall, which is quite a long ways since the mall is huge. Drake and Daddy went for a fun ride while Mommy did more shopping! The older Drake gets, the more fun stuff we can do with him, and we are really enjoying it.
