Happy Persian New Year!

Okay, so this picture is blurry but hilarious. What is up with their expressions?

My two boys! (Soon to be three!)

Eric works two and half days a week for a local doctor who is from Iran (Persia). Apparently, they just celebrated their New Year over there, so Dr. Nami wanted to take his office staff out to dinner to celebrate. We didn't arrange a babysitter in time, so Drake went with us. Luckily, Dr. Nami and his wife have a ten year old and an 18 month old, so Drake had a buddy to play with. Plus, they had their nanny with them (his wife is a doctor too), so she helped with the kiddos. We went to a place called Kabob Grill, and let me just say-- DELISH! It reminded me of Ethiopian food in the way it was served, with the rice and meat platters. And the bread and yogurt was amazing. It's fun to find new types of foods we like. Drake even liked the bread and yogurt, and some of the meats! Drake especially liked getting to stay up late past his bedtime:-)
